Educational Services
The Museu de Arte e do Colecionismo de Cantanhede (MACC) offers a range of educational activities aimed at schools, organised groups and the general public, with the purpose of promoting contact with heritage, art and the world of collecting.
Among the activities available are guided tours, which are free of charge and carried out by prior booking. These visits are led by the museum team and can be adapted according to the needs of each group.
In the case of school visits, the tours may be tailored to the students’ age group, curriculum content or the themes being explored in the classroom, allowing connections to be established between the museum’s collections and different areas of knowledge.
Each visit is carefully designed in a personalised way, taking into account the group profile, the number of participants and the visitors’ specific interests. In this way, we aim to provide dynamic, participatory and enriching learning experiences that encourage curiosity, observation and discovery.
The diversity of the MACC collections makes it possible to explore themes related to history, art, world cultures, archaeology, heritage and collecting, turning each visit into a unique opportunity to discover different perspectives on the objects and the stories they preserve.
To book a visit or obtain further information, interested parties should contact the museum through the available channels.
