This is one of the largest collections of the Liliana and Cândido Ferreira legacy, comprising hundreds of thousands of copies. For this reason, an archive structure was devised for this room. Its highlights include the geographical postcards, with photographs/drawings from all the districts of Portugal, the postcards from former colonies and foreign places, as well as those of Portuguese traditions, advertising, humoristic and erotic ones, and Christmas related postcards. There is also a small section collecting and displaying letters and business cards from famous figures.

In this archive room, the postal history is completed by a remarkable Portuguese philatelic collection that stretches out from the first issued stamps, during the Consti-tutional Monarchy, to the stamps issued during the First Republic, the Estado Novo and after the 25th of April Revolution.
