Dr. Cândido Ferreira’s collecting universe includes not only reference collections in the fields of archaeology, handicrafts, painting, sculpture, numismatics, philately and postcards, but also numerous other collections that somehow represent the aspects of social life and family and domestic life.

The collections related to social and domestic contexts include the “cycle of drinks and their containers”, multiple labels of different beverages, “the world of tobacco” – with matchboxes, ashtrays and cigar bands –, videos and vinyl records, stickers, pins and cups (of both advertising and political motifs), pennants, rulers, pencils, pencil sharpeners and ballpoint pens.
