travelling souvenirs from Cândido and Liliana Ferreira

Among the vast collections donated by Liliana and Cândido Ferreira, there are un-countable souvenirs from their many travels in Portugal, Europe and around the world.

Thus, this exhibition presents a first approach, as a «work in progress» to this rich and vast collection.
Retelling some of the travelling routes through the various continents – Oceania, Asia, Africa, America, Europe and Portugal –, it shows pieces such as paintings, sculptures, decorative arts, textiles and handicrafts that the couple collected.

Several other pieces belonging to this vast collection of souvenirs will be presented as soon as the collection is thoroughly studied.
